About Me

I was born and reared in Nashville, TN, graduated from Cameron High School in the top twelve of my class, earned a degree in Business Management, European Division and retired Sergeant First Class after twenty years of service. Also, I was an owner of a Beauty & Barber Supply and Salon in Athens, GA over ten years.

All of the above, including taking the Sisterlocks® class three times before attempting my first establishment, not because I had to but, because I wanted perfection the first time around. I wanted my clients to have locks they would be proud to showcase. My education and experience enabled me to provide professional hair care and customer service to my clients and to enjoy a successful after-retirement business, with a schedule I could control.

After the establishment of my locks in 2008, my journey began with such easy care, style-ability (after settling phase) and low maintenance, I came to realize this was the “revolution” Dr. Cornwell stated would soon start without ever another bad hair day, ever!
