About Me
Carol Versey has been of resident of Washington and business owner in Seattle for over 30 years. Originally from Eudora, AR, Carol followed her entrepreneurial instincts and moved to Seattle to develop a thriving business to create a new foundation for her daughters. She is a graduate of the University of Washington and holds a degree in Psychology. Carol is an advocate, activist, and philanthropist.
Carol is an active community member and has the distinction of being one of the founding businesses in the revitalization of Seattle’s Columbia City. She owned a business in the area for over 25 years, serving as CEO and founder.
Carol is a philanthropic leader with deep ties in the community. She serves on Regional Advisory Board for Global Women. She has been an active member of Columbia City Lions and the Washington Rhinestone Club. She is an avid supporter of Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center where she supports research efforts focused on African American women with breast cancer. Carol has been recognized for her community leadership advocating for causes to improve the health and well-being of Rainier Valley residents.
Carol makes her home in Kennydale area of Renton. She has four daughters, and she is an active mentor of women and young girls in the community. She is inspired by the words of Mary Bethune, “I leave you finally a responsibility to our young people. I leave you racial dignity.”
