About Me
I am a Certified Sisterlocks™ Consultant, Trichology Analyst and now a Brand Ambassador. My specialty is the care of natural hair: the Sisterlocks and
Brotherlocks. I received my training from the founder, Dr. Cornwell, in April of 2013. I am a creative artist, a French Teacher, photographer, volunteer locally and abroad, and I enjoy scrapbooking, and other creative outlets.
My journey to Sisterlocks began 10 years ago, and I am happy to say that it was
the best decision I ever made in regards to my hair care. I went natural because I love who I am in my natural state. For many years, I was using chemicals that
caused my hair to fall out. When I got my Sisterlocks, I thought they were
beautiful and unique. I could not keep my hands out of my hair.
I was diagnosed with scarring Alopecia back in 2011 which has awaken a deep
desire in me to really get to the roots of hair loss. I am a hair survivor myself, and I am still struggling with it. Hence the reason why I took the trichology analyst class last year to gain more in-depth knowledge about hair loss. Through the Trichology class, I met some wonderful women who are representing who’s who in the Sisterlocks™ community. As a result, of my personal experience, I can relate to clients who struggle with hair loss. As a confident, certified Trichology Analyst approved by the Sisterlocks™ Home Office, I can guide my clients in the best way possible.
At 2 Natural Roots, I am focused on providing Sisterlocks™/Brotherlocks™ services with the highest levels of customer satisfaction. I pride myself on being very precise, ensuring that each lock is the proper size to create a uniform appearance and remain strong and healthy. My goal is for anyone who is interested in Sisterlocks™ or Brotherlocks™ look their best. For me to do that, I must form a partnership with each of my clients. This partnership involves agreeing to be consistent with the care of your Sisterlocks™/Brotherlocks™, which entails re-tightening appointments, following post-appointment instructions, and exclusively using the recommended Sisterlocks™ products for your hair maintenance.
